Matteo Alvarez finds out about his girlfriend's death on an otherwise uneventful Tuesday afternoon. Promptly six weeks later she shows up in his room, leading to Matteo being unceremoniously thrust into a world composed of creatures which should only belong within the leather bindings of a Tolkien novel. That is until he is made privy to his true lineage as a child of the glorious Fay hierarchy, and is inducted into helping them stave off the forces which threaten to destroy their long withstanding antiquity.

MODERN AU, THOMAS/MAVEN Thomas doesn't really expect much from counseling. After all, he is nothing but a street rat--estranged from home and ignored by the rest of the world. But, amongst the ruins of his life, he finds the treasure lurking beneath, meeting someone he doesn't want to, but easily falls for. And just like that, he finds himself wanting to try to turn his life around somehow. Unfortunately, it's much easier said than done.
