Use of the writing prompt, The Sizzling of An Egg

Growing up with very loving parents is Jizane Fortez. Her mom is a meticulous women but has a heart as precious as a diamond. Her father on the other hand, teaches her to be a fine warrior which her mother does not approve of but allows it nevertheless. Both of her parents love her. What could go wrong when you have a loving family and your parents rule a kingdom? Everything. Jizane lives in a world where everyone's flame are what gives them their status. Only hers is different. Her magic is also deemed unique. She enters an academy which is filled with lies and confusion and met her companion named Salem, a conceited bratty and arrogant jerk, who told her she was not the princess nor child of her present parents and kingdom but a child of a non-existed kingdom which is told to be just rumours. How will she face this? Will she thrive and survive? Or will she fall? This is the story of the Irony of the blue flame.

A group of 5 young men who met up (by chance) on a reality TV show go on a quest/adventure at the request of the Council of the Olympians. This perilous quest involves saving the world and finding the missing hero/god Hercules. All goes well until one of the boys, who (again by absolute chance) was the smartest, is kidnapped. The stakes have just risen to a whole different level. The rest of the team now have to find the kidnapper and Hercules. Things start unraveling fast, and the boys have to get their act together, and soon, because if they don't both their friend will die. Of course, that doesn't matter, because the whole world will end if they fail...

A year has passed since Tom met resistance fighters against the military dictatorship in Greece, was interrogated and threatened by the secret police, made new friends and made a promise to Sophia. Hardly does he land in Athens again in July 1970 when he and his friends receive their first courier assignment for the resistance group, which takes him to Crete and entails many unpleasant surprises. Their assignments become more and more dangerous, which welds the group ever tighter around Tom, Nikos, and Sophia. In northern Greece, Tom and Nikos are ambushed by Albanian agents, and on the concentration camp island of Leros they are again targeted by the secret police. Tom soon realizes that things are often not what they seem. At the same time he realizes that he is in a dilemma: he loves Sophia, but he also loves Nikos. Will he have to make a decision? In the second book of "The Right People" series, the action picks up pace. Adventure and danger lurk around every corner, but Tom and his friends take on the challenge, now joined by Dave the Englishman, four Australian students and two pairs of German siblings. I'd like to take John Piccone for the time and energy he spent editing this book.

I have a problem with documentaries. No, really. This is what happens when the chipmunk on caffeine I have instead of a brain sees documentaries about the cultural revolution. A red guard and an artist, the late 60s. (English isn't my first language, so please feel free to point out any mistakes! I have so much to learn!!)
