This is a story of unconditional love found after a loved one is gone and how our struggles don't define who we are.

One moment, two people and a world of possibilities.

Davina Stallard, an orphan young lady who was found by the Avengers during the events of Ultron, tries to make sense of where she belonged in the world. Taken as a little girl for HYDRA to experiment on, HYDRA had given her, what the Avengers call a "gift", but Davina calls it her "curse of a lifetime." Davina held the controlling side of the water and fire element. Alone and lost in the world, so she thought, Steve Rogers held a certain affection for Davina. As trouble lured around the corner with the government, Davina has to make a choice between the Avengers. Will she stand by the Avengers and fight back, side to side with Steve Rogers? Or, will she sign the accord with Tony Stark and betray everything she once stood for? Or will she ignore the problems with the government and explore her inner darkness, rather than finding a way to control it? In our world today we throw around the word "love" quite aimlessly. We believe it to be an emotion, something that we feel on a whim for no rhyme or reason. I don't believe that's true. I believe love is a conscious choice of action. Because we love someone we put action behind our words. I don't believe anyone truly has a full understanding of love. I believe life will continuously push us to our limits in regard of how much love we give and learning new ways to express that love as we grow as individuals. I also believe that with the conscious choice of love, comes some not so voluntary emotions or sensations. In this book I am going to explore what those experiences meant to me and can hopefully provide some insight to others who might be feeling the same way but are having trouble identifying those feelings.
