Kioka's friends love her, but that's not the case with everyone. Neji Hyuga is at the top of his class, and by "sheer luck", he and Kioka have mutual friends. He absolutely cannot stand her! She's rude, a little punk ass, and she doesn't give a shit about anything. Neji finds that awful. He puts up with her because he doesn't want to cause issues between his friends, but soon she's hanging around more. Kioka loves to party, and she always invites her friends to party with her. Neji is always dragged along. He doesn't much mind the partying, but he minds the scene Kioka brings them to. One night, Kioka gets too drunk and her designated driver bailed, so she has to walk home. Neji finds her throwing up in an alley. Normally, Neji wouldn't bother with a person throwing up in an alley, but he doesn't want her to get hurt. Neji takes her to his house while everyone is asleep, and then he finally gets to know the real Kioka.
