During the Dawes Act of 1887 when Native Americans were losing their land to the "pale-faced" ones. When a young Navajo girl at the age of fourteen wakes up in her village to see it gouged in flames, its up to her years later to make sure her people stay safe when the Mohawk Indians take the Navajos into their village. The young girl named Nizhoni(Ni-zhon-eh) knows its all up to her. Nizhoni finds out that the reason her village was burned down was because her people wouldn't let the white men split their lands; they burn it to the ground as their solution forcing the Navajo's out. She finds a companion to be a pale-faced who she seems to somewhat recognize. How? Can she trust this pale face? Can she keep this Navajo-Mohawk tribe safe? If you are a big fan of super action, adventure, and romance, this book is for you.

A big beautiful prairie, filled with wild flowers of every colour, and flying dandelions covering the bright blue sky. I didn’t pay any mind to them, I was focused on her. Her delicate porcelain skin, shrouded by a blue dress: the same colour of the sky, and her dancing eyes. Her rosy lips and cheeks: pulled up into the most perfect smile, letting out the most perfect laugh. Her small, bare feet: carrying her and twirling her amongst the flowers. Her raven hair: whipping in the wind, in her delicate face. I had never seen such a beautiful woman in my life, so perfect, so unique, so precious to me. Without her, what would I be?

the characters in this are from the tv show cobra Kai, but doesn't exactly follow the story line at some parts. Harper Flynn was new in the west valley, she was moving there to get away from her abusive mom and to be safe with her dad. She lived here when she was little and her father and Daniel LaRusso were best friends in there young adult years, leading Harper and sam to be friends, and learning karate when she lived there. When Harper moves back she doesn't like the lifestyle Sam has gaven herself and branches out to new people, Eli, Demetri and Miguel. Miguel who is also new. How will the LaRusso's feel when they find out Harper is a cobra Kai Inside and outside.. Harper never wanted a relationship she was scared of love because of her parents relationship, but what happens when she meets Eli/Hawk.. will she stop herself from falling or give in.. ________ If your sensitive to abuse please don't read!!
