Michelle Diaz has always been super close to her twin brother Miguel, regardless of his lack of popularity. As he now stood inches from her, he pushed some of her hair out of her face and behind her ear. His hand lingering to caress her cheek gently. "Please know that," he said softly almost in a whisper. It was like he was pleading with her, begging her to believe him. Michelle finally looked up at him, their faces only inches apart. A part of her wanted to push him away from her and run to find comfort in her brothers embrace as the fear rushed through her body making her shiver. The other part of her begged her to stay, pulling her in like the strongest magnet with no regard for her safety. Could all of this really be that bad if Eli Moskowitz was taking part in it? Lizseth left afterwards, but she left for good. What happens when Lizseth runs into Onyx 5 years later? What will she do? What will he think of her having two kids? Would she have moved on?

I tell you, the reader, why I hate most french people (but not all). This book is based on opinions, not actual facts.

When you have motivation, you can do anything. When you have enough hatred, you can control anyone. Taylor's motivation stems from her parents death; her hatred stems from a contract made when she was still young. Taylor struggles to break free from the oppression of her 'godparents' and the contract that her parents and godparents created when she was young. The mowhawk-wearing, motorcycle-riding intellect shouldn't have much trouble, but the girl under the act is still twelve years old watching her parents being gunned down in front of her, still remembering the absence of her only friend, still feeling the loss.

During the Dawes Act of 1887 when Native Americans were losing their land to the "pale-faced" ones. The young girl named Nizhoni(Ni-zhon-eh) knows its all up to her. Nizhoni finds out that the reason her village was burned down was because her people wouldn't let the white men split their lands; they burn it to the ground as their solution forcing the Navajo's out. She finds a companion to be a pale-faced who she seems to somewhat recognize. How? Can she trust this pale face? Can she keep this Navajo-Mohawk tribe safe? If you are a big fan of super action, adventure, and romance, this book is for you.
