Basically, I was watching this chick flick with my sisters a few days ago: 10 Things I Hate About You, and I was inspired to start writing this Jily fan-fiction based on it. Anyway... Lily was the most beautiful, intelligent and popular girl at Hogwarts. All the guys used to want to go out with her - that is, until she got a reputation of hexing, slapping, threatening and punching any guy who showed interest in her in any way that wasn't platonic. However, there is one guy who never stops trying: James Potter. James Potter is one of the most good-looking guys at school, along with the one who gets the best grades, does the best at anything broom-related (except cleaning up messes, of course) and, on top of this, is the most completely smitten with the unrelenting Lily Evans. Everybody knows that Lily and James ended up together, and not many people know that technically, it was Vernon Dudley (yes, I'm not kidding!) who set them up.
