"Hell no, give me a sec." I ran into my room and found one of the many umbrellas that I had stored in my closet. I scurry back and hand him the pink umbrella. He looks down at it with furrowed eyebrows. "Lila, how am I gonna be able to bike and hold an umbrella?" I shrug. "Figure it out, but I'm not gonna let you get my dad's clothes wet." "Then why'd you give them to me?" "Because Stan, you were just soaking wet." "Huh?" I roll my eyes. "Just take the umbrella and go." He clenches his jaw, hesitantly taking the umbrella out of my hand. But as he opens and walks out the door, an idea lights up in my head. "Stan," I call out. He opens the umbrella and turns to me, "Yeah?" he asks, I could barely hear his voice through the rain. I flash a huge grin which makes him nervous. "I think I can find a way to help you out." Stan Bobrucz is in shambles when his girlfriend Darcy breaks up with him. He thought there would never be a thought of them drifting apart, but when she suddenly tells him that she can't continue the relationship any longer, he seeks out answers. Which now brings in Lila Campbell Darcy's best friend; a sarcastic and generous person who loves to help out anyone she can. When Stan comes to her house one night begging for her help, she comes up with an idea "To mentor Stan into getting back with Darcy). But what happens when feelings start to get in the way? ___________ This is a fanfic of the movie (For Keeps) made in 1988. To be honest, I wrote this book cause I didn't like how they treated my black queen Lila in the movie and because Stan is so damn fionneee!!! Anyway...read the book!
