It is a story about mother and son who endured a lot of pain and inspite of having many tears they never shed them. It won't be a big story, but definitely has big chapters. This book is about what 22q deletion is and how I live my life with it. I've had some struggles with 22q deletion, but I have achieved so much throughout the years of my life. A short-story I wrote for English class. Our assignment was to read a selection of short stories and then write our own based on one of them. The story I decided to base mine upon is called "Like Mother, Like Son" and is written by Pauline Cartledge. To understand my short story it's pretty important to have read her's so I included it as the first chapter. Luckily it's a mini-saga of only 50 words so it doesn't take long to read.
