I fell asleep suddenly and slowly. 12 hours later... A loud boom woke me up like an alarm clock. I saw Mom covered in blood. "Mom," I cried, "run." "I love you, Allison." She mumbled to me, cupping my face in her hands. "Mom! Run!" I yelled. Once she got up, she collapsed again. Someone killed her. Someone killed her. Allison Mitchell saw her mother die right in front of her. Now, her father is abusive and makes her do all the cooking and cleaning. She meets this boy, Joe, in class. Joe changes her life, but Allison has to keep her life a secret. She is broken and she knows that. She will be scarred forever.
