Amelia Grayson-Fox, better known as 'Hazard' among her colleagues, works in the medical department at MI6. When Q's request to exempt Amelia from missions is deliberately denied, Amelia finds herself heading out to the icy mountains of Switzerland as medical accompaniment for 007. Q returns safely to London after a close call regarding their identity, but Amelia insists on staying behind with 007 after being injured, even when she has the opportunity to go home. Will she be able to make it out alive?

At first glance, Eloise Bond may seem like just a normal college girl. She hangs out with her friends, stays at her boyfriend's place at weekends, and attends fabulous parties and cotillions on the Oxford campus. After Eve is harassed in a dark alley in London and defends herself beyond anyone's expectations, MI6 hire her as their secretary. Set in the office HQ to look over the secret service's 'hero' agent in the field, she slowly starts to develop a flirty relationship with him, slowly trying to break out their work relationship. One day she is let out on the field and succeeds. But on the next mission she is left in HQ to help the Bond. When things start going wrong Eve seizes her chance and breaks out of her work base. After Spectre, the world continues without James Bond in MI6. Between wild 00's and hot gossip everything seems normal. However, one mission is going to be rather different than the norm. It's top secret and involves one or two members of the senior team in MI6.

The email started everything. Well, actually it all started with Q working late after three nights of no sleep, then he got the email. But, the email did, pretty much, start the whole thing. After he got the email, Q started acting weird. And it was pretty obvious. Q's odd behaviour then resulted in him disappearing from work sometimes. That then caused 007, M and Moneypenny to get involved. But, honestly, the question you want answered is in the title, isn't it. What is the Quartermaster's secret?

James Bond. 007. As an agent in her majesty's secret service he is granted a license to kill. However, living in the world of espionage and betrayal means that his luck may run out one day. When a special evening out in Chelsea leaves unanswered questions, it does not sit well with Bond. A mystery begins to unravel and 007 is once more sanctioned to defend England against a long forgotten enemy. [Completed]

The 2022-2023 Film Journal continues towards its overdue end with this sixty-second entry, "The Living Daylights". Here, James Bond returns with Timothy Dalton's era, and I take a look at how well this picture succeeds in remixing the series distinct formula.
