Since you don't see Mike kidnapped by himself in any episode of the Monkees, I decided to write about it. Let's see how good it turns out.

(1969) As he struggled to hold the Monkees together after Peter's resignation, it seemed as though Davy Jones' relationship with his girlfriend was the light at the end of the tunnel... that is, until, one day, she decided to leave him for another man. With a week to spare before the release of 'Instant Replay' and their schedules empty as could be, Micky and a melancholy Davy accompanied Mike on his return to Texas to pay his mother a visit. There, Davy saw that their neighbor had horses and ventured over to look at them, meeting their owner in the process: responsible, outgoing, and warmhearted Annalise Barnes, a childhood friend of Mike's. Throughout the time spent at Mike's mother's home, Davy and Annalise would hit it off beautifully, but with his mind still set on his ex, would he realize that the young Texan lady was really the one for him before it was too late?

this is just about life in the 1960s

Some of you know the music group known as "The Monkees" right? If not seriously go google them they were hilarious! Anyway Meet Sarah and Anna. Two normal girls who get bored one day and end up watching the monkees old TV show. Both are exhausted though from college exams. They fall asleep watching the show but when they wake up they are in for a blast from the past!

This story is my take on the boys' pasts and how they came to get to know each other.
