I can't be the only one who wonders what would have happened if kuma sent luffy somewhere else right?, here's an AU for what i think might have happened. I changed the timeline a tad bit the strawhats reached Sabaody a week earlier and Sabo wasn't on a mission but on Baltigo Cover Art by a friend P.S I DONT own one piece nor the characters in this story, I'm just practicing my writing, and this AU idea popped into my head in the middle of the night last night so If you don't like it don't read it.

This story is about Kuma sending luffy to Baltigo thinking it's about time luffy meets his father and to train with him for the new world. This is how i think the story would go. -luffy and dragon interactions -Sabo and luffy -Sabo and ace Extra note: i will try to save ace but I believe that ace's death is an essential part for luffy's character development so you will have to wait and see how the story goes. There will be some interesting interactions based on some theories that I really like.

The War of The Best at Marineford doesn't happen until much later in the story. Think between Egghead and Elbaf. Luffy is a Yonko and has unlocked Gear 5, Whitebeard is still alive and Blackbeard hasn't stolen his devil fruit yet, Sengoku is still Fleet Admiral. How will the war play out
