This world is filled with flying stars. Among those stars, There is only one bright star in the eyes of millions. Macaque, A rising star and the attraction to many hearts. He easily caught attention to everyone whom laid eyes on him, his charm, his voice, his presence was almost too hard to resist. Wukong, a witness to the growth of popularity of the star through his younger brother, MK. Wukong isn't much of a fan to this rising star, disliking the fact his younger brother likes such an idol. ♡ "Oh please sunny! Can we go get those tickets to see him? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity...!" Mk pleaded to his older brother in desperation. ♡ What if Wukong meets this idol, would he change his mind? Or rather a change of heart?

After a hundreds of years, a not-so-happy accident gives legendary Monkey King a chance to reunite with his old... friend. What secrets lie beneath their shared past? What can be defined as family and who makes it? And lastly.. is there anything more than just a friendly connection?

MK is hanging out at Pigsy's restaurant when Red Son crashes into the street, frantic because scary black clouds had taken his parents, and he'd been powerless to stop them. He's covered in scratches, bruises, and one of his elbows is blackened, though it wasn't burned. Those black clouds hold the sorcerer that Celeste knew would come for her. Now the entire world is in danger again. This time, however, the danger is magnified 10-fold. This sorcerer is the most dangerous thing that has ever seen the light of day. MK and his friends must find a way to defeat this sorcerer before he darkens the entire world and enslaves the people as his dark minions.

So here it is: Triad City AU is a Monkie Kid alternate universe that takes place in a mafia-style timeline. Our main protagonist, Mk, lives in a closed off sort of dystopian city called Metropolis. Years ago, the newest leader decreed that no one will be allowed in or out of Metropolis until all mafia, triads, yakuza, gangs, etc. had been taken care of. She erected walls around Metropolis because of the growing population of mafia groups in the city. Which gave the city many nicknames, such as Mafia city, Yakuza city, and of course Triad City. But the people of Metropolis have grown suspicious over the years. Are the increasing mafia groups the bad people, or is the new leader part of some corrupt government? Find out by reading the Triad City AU. (This won't contain any confirmed ships, but you are all perfectly free to ship characters in the comments. The reason it's like this is only so my story will reach a broader audience in the fandom.)
