Crimson Chains: The Cursed Blood of Izuku Midoriya
Izuku Midoriya stopped caring a long time ago.
Raised by Hisashi and Inko Midoriya, two of the most feared Yakuza operatives, he learned early that trust was worthless and survival meant obedience. Used as bait, a distraction, and a tool for their crimes, he never had a choice-until his parents failed a mission, got caught, and left him to take the fall. The Yakuza put a hit out on him, and the heroes who caught him saw nothing but a criminal in the making.
Instead of prison, they threw him into U.A.'s Criminal Rehabilitation Program, forcing him to "reform" among the same heroes he despised. But Izuku has no interest in proving himself-what's the point? He's not a hero, and he never will be.
He keeps his head down, follows orders just enough to avoid trouble, and waits for it all to blow over. But when whispers of the Crimson Chains-the last remnants of the Yakuza-reach his ears, and Hisashi Midoriya himself resurfaces, things get complicated.
Hisashi wants him back. The heroes want to fix him. Izuku just wants to be left alone.
But in a world that won't stop pulling him in different directions, apathy might not be an option anymore.
