The Hogwarts Treasures dig in Monopoly GO can feel like a cosy little side event, but it turns into a grind fast, so I treat it like a resource puzzle from the start. If you're checking guides or communities like RSVSR, you'll notice the same theme: it's not about tapping faster, it's about not wasting pickaxes when the boards get stingy.
Tokens first, digging second
The easiest way to fail is to dig whenever you feel like it, then realise you're out of tools halfway through a level with one last relic hiding. So I stack pickaxes before I get ambitious. Banner events and tournaments do the heavy lifting, no surprise there, but it's the boring stuff that keeps you afloat: Daily Quick Wins, the shop's free gift cycle, and any club-style daily claims you've got access to. None of those are huge alone. Together, they're the difference between "almost done" and actually finishing.
Don't chase milestones with reckless dice
Loads of players torch their rolls early because the first levels are quick and it feels like free progress. Then the later boards show up and you're suddenly paying for every mistake. I'll usually play events in bursts, grab a milestone that makes sense, then stop. If a tournament bracket looks sweaty, I'm not trying to win it at all costs. I'm trying to hit the pickaxe tiers that are efficient, then back off. You can always spend more dice. Getting them back is the hard part.
