Jason is a casual kid, but all of a sudden, monsters start appearing. Each person is hunted by their sins, and the monsters keep spreading. A man well-known for guessing things correctly, 60 days earlier, guessed this situation would happen. Every 60 days, the monsters seem to evolve, and/or multiply. Jason has to survive in this apocalypse, while also trying to survive from humans themselves.
