Yui Makoto, a high school student, suddenly gets a notification from a stranger to meet him at the rooftop. Yui goes, but when she meets the stranger, he pushes her down and she dies. But while she's falling, she hears a strange voice, then sees a beam of light that reincarnates her in a fantasy world with magic and monsters. But wait. She's a slime?! Follow her journey, as she builds a kingdom of monsters and gets powerful allys. But be warned, this is NOT your typical reincarnation story... Geya was just an ordinary student when her life came to an abrupt end. On a rainy night of her birthday, of all days, she was crossing the street when a truck driver, drunk and drifting into sleep, lost control of the wheel and struck her. In an instant, her life was taken. But death wasn't the end. For a moment she opened her eyes, she found herself staring up at a sky full of shimmering stars. In that quiet, endless night, she whispered one final wish on her birthday: "I... want to... live." And that wish was granted and Geya was reborn, not as a human, but as a seed of the World Tree, Yggdrasil.
