I could see through those eyes. That silver iris of his spoke to me like a dull afternoon sky with vague, grey clouds. I could see my reflection in his pupils, my own reflection that made me think I was something more than just a part of our troupe. We used to stare at one another, and it was always my reflection that got most of my attention. It's as if the glimmer in his eyes meant glee for being with me. And yet, if they were my own reflections, why did he suddenly become so distant from me the moment I came back? So close to me.. yet so faraway.. unlike before, keeping his distance as if he was shielding himself from the person whom he used to look at vehemently.
