A love story set in 18th century England, where the Montague family is extremely wealthy and influential. Lady Charlotte Montague, the youngest daughter, turned 18 this year, and her family decided to host a ball in hopes of finding her a suitable partner. However, Lady Charlotte doesn't have a good impression of the Duke Alexander Worthington of Blackwoodshire, believing him to be a promiscuous flirt. As they dance and converse, the Duke's playful and flirty nature clashes with Lady Charlotte's haughty and gentle demeanor. Will they be able to see past their first impressions and find love?

What if they're families were sworn enemies for many centuries? What if they're children, two innocent souls fell for each other? Based on JK Rowling's Harry Potter and William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet! PS: There is no Voldemort, and the Potters are alive. If you are unfamiliar with Still Star Crossed, I suggest you check it out. It was based off the book by Melinda Taub; a continuation of Romeo & Juliet focusing on their relatives, Benvolio and Rosaline, respectively. It was short lived but good, featuring a diverse cast and great costumes. Sadly, they gave the audience a cliffhanger when they ended it. This takes place shortly after Count Paris' attack on Verona. It was a spur of the moment. I got some things to edit which I will but I just wanted to share this.

Romeo is different. However, in Romeo's case, this difference is dangerous, and possibly deadly. He is the only son of the Lord Montague, and he is expected to uphold not only tradition, but the family name. After a bloody skirmish and heartfelt threat from the Prince of Verona, Lord Montague and Lord Capulet agree that the best way to end their warring is to become one as a family. Meaning Romeo is now promised to Juliet, the only heir of the Capulet household. . . . Mercutio has always been a dreamer, and yet the cousin of Prince Escalus has never believed in love. That is until he meets Romeo, one who believes in love as the Friar believes in God. The two grow to be fast friends and soon learn that there is more to life than heritage. How much are they willing to risk to not only defy their family and the law, but the way, it seems, everybody has lived for forever. **This does not follow the cannon story or even much of the plot of the original Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. It does contain prominent gay content, if that upsets you, you do not have to read this. I will not be writing in the common 'Shakespearean style' of writing. All characters belong to the great William Shakespeare.

Benvolio Montague is a well known, handsome, peacekeeper of Verona. Unfortunately for many women of Verona, he has very few positive views of love. That is, until he meets Isabella. Isabella is new to Verona and tends to shy away from most men and keeps to herself. When she is invited to a Capulet party, she meets Benvolio and unexpectedly, something sparks between them. However, Isabella has also captured the eye of the hotheaded Tybalt. The details of what unfolds between these three will be covered in this book. (The only character I own is Isabella.)

Romeo and Juliet is my personal favorite story, and I find it hard to understand at times, too. I loved the 1968 movie so much, I personally forced myself to learn fluent Old English before I could read the actual play. So, while doing so I decided to not make my friends I would beg to read the story do the same, and I wrote my first variation of this solely for a friend. Now, I thought on and decided more people might even need it... Because of -School -Your friend wants you to read it -You want to read it but can't Or anything else... So, here is my official "translation" of Romeo and Juliet. :) NOTES: 1) If you want me to translate any other story that is in Old English, let me know and I might post a story, maybe even dedicate it all to you :) 2)None of the videos I put on the side are mine. Modern day and language and an au where each character at least have one brain cell brain cell unlike the play. This will focus on the relationship between Benvolio and Tybalt. The background will continue the story of Romeo and Juliet but will start to change drastically in chapter 2. Hope you enjoy.
