At twenty-four, Liora feels like life is happening somewhere just out of reach. Chronic pain and exhaustion have made her world smaller than she ever imagined it would be. While everyone else seems to be rushing forward-traveling, dreaming, living-she has learned to exist carefully within the limits of a body that rarely cooperates. Then she meets someone who experiences the world in a completely different way. He's blind. But where she sees limitation, he hears possibility. He notices the sound of rain before storms arrive, the shift in wind through trees, the quiet music hidden inside ordinary moments. And when she confesses that she feels like life is passing her by, he offers her a simple challenge: Borrow time from the world. Once a month, they take a trip together-a few days away from everything-to experience places slowly and deeply instead of rushing through them. Across fifteen months, their journey carries them through distant landscapes, crowded cities, and quiet corners of the world where life feels suddenly larger than either of them expected.
