I DON'T OWN YOU OR THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO AND ITS CHARACTERS, THE STORY AND CHARACTERS BELONG TO ITS RIGHT FUL OWNERS! (Y/N) wants to get her revenge on Fortunato and unfortunately for Fortunato, nothing will get in her way. But then she meets him, Montresor, will they come to like each other or will they end up killing each other. Some of the beginning will have some of the story in it but the rest will be my own story line!

We have all heard or read of the original story of "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe, however; what exactly happened to Montresor that caused him to seek revenge against Fortunato? This is my story of a "before" version to one of Poe's greatest pieces of literature.

'The Cask of Amontillado' is a very celebrated story written by the all time writer of mystery and macabre, Edgar Allen Poe. What happened before Montresor decided to declare revenge against Fortunato, and why did he continue with the project of killing his best friend?
