She sat alone, drew in her sketchbook, minded her business and didn't let anyone get too close. He wanted to know more about her. But he couldn't. Not because he was too shy, but because of what he was. When Malia's life is threatened by another one of his kind, he jumps into action, defying all of his morals, to not get close to her.

Aubrey Kace has an agreement between her mom and her dad, that her dad gets her for the summer and her mom gets her for the school year. She complies with this, she loves her parents equally despite their divorce. She would take as many photos as she could for each parent. Aubrey had sort of a gift when it came to photography. She wanted to shoot photos for magazines when she's older. The summer of 2019, she actually meets people who are friendly, it was her last year with her dad before she graduates and moves out to where ever her heart desires. Aubrey went on a plane back home to her mom when her mom never picked her up, or answered her phone. Her mother died a few days ago and no one knew till Aubrey ran home and found her body. To say the least she had to move in with her dad for her last year of high school. She continued to take pictures and send letters to her mom as if she were still alive. It helps her go on with her day. Now her summer friends are there for her in her darkest days.

Just things i think of at night

An aspiring artist believes she has figured out her life. There may still be some broken pieces to the puzzle, but she's willing to work through them on her own. Though, no one should be alone.
