Since the show has been cancelled and I'm not ready to let go, here's my version of season four. There's drama, there's comedy, there's friendship but most importantly, there's Shirbert fluff. It starts immediately after the end of the show. It'll follow Anne and the Avonlea gang's life through early college and beyond. I make no promises but I will try and update as frequently as I can. A story in which Anne and Gilbert were in foster care together as kids, get separated, meet each other again, and all that's left between them is Anne's memory of him. They meet in highschool, and in her absence, Gilbert has earned the reputation of 'highschool heart-throb'. Throughout their time together, Anne ends up falling for Gil, but to him it's just a game. What will happen when Anne realizes that Ruby has 'dibs', when Gilbert actually starts liking Anne, and their harrowing past is uncovered? "tragical romance and all?" "remains to be seen."
