My breath was hard and heavy from running through the dark forest, while constantly looking over my shoulder. I couldn't see what followed me but I could hear it. The sound of Soft paws that came with every step closer gave me chills. I was running deeper and deeper into the forest , nothing besides the darkness could be seen. Suddenly my leg got caught on a root of a tree and I fell face first to the ground. I couldn't move my body, every muscle was hurting. That's when I heard it, a deep growl that was coming directly from behind me. He caught up to me. I slowly got up on my knees and looked over my shoulders. I stared in to the eyes of a huge black wolf. His teeth were fletched and it was angrily growling at me. It came closer until only inches separated us from each other. My heart rate speed up and I started to shake violently from fear. I was going to die. I knew it deep down. Just before it could attack I woke up and gasped loudly. I sat up from my bed and *************************************************** Leila has frightful dreams that she wakes up from every night. Seeing it as a bad sign for her upcoming mating she is scared of a rejection. When the day of finding her mate arrives she gets rejected for a other girl .
