The Azrya Woodlands Moon Elves were left vulnerable when the Elf King "Estes" disappeared without a trace, after his fight with the blood queen "Alice". The Moon Elves believe in the "Moon Goddess" but she's also asleep after the moon was at its darkest. What's more is that the Blood Queen sent Demon Orcs into the Beloved Woodlands of a Leading Elven Girl "Miya" who's the Elf King's sister. While Everything was messy as it is a mysterious Man appeared, with his Huge Sword that hunts demons. Going into her God's trial, Mae didn't expect to encounter her best friend, Nystaryl. The two young moon elves will soon find themselves thrown out into the world-far from their sheltered, and safe home in the Nieranna. Forced to risk their lives as they become embroiled in a darker plot; things spiral out of Mae's control as Nystaryl succumbs to an insatiable evil. Can Mae stop the evil from being unleashed in their home? Or will Nystaryl pay the price?

This is about a dark elf named Genevieve and a wood elf named Charlotte and how they live their lives the way they see fit. And about how something as ordinary as a key can be worth more than gold to someone if it holds the right meaning.

An infant is found to be the only survivor of a human village just outside of the elven forest. The elves come to investigate not wanting the dead bodies to cause problems. They find the infant with her dead mother surrounded by dead invaders. There is no identity, no way to find relatives, and no way of even knowing if the father of the baby survived elsewhere. The elves try to find a human home for the infant and fail. The general of the elven army and his wife the high priestess of their goddess take the child in and teach her of the ways of the elves. Yet all good things must come to an end, at eighteen years of age, far younger than the elven youth trained by the girl's adoptive father she is told that there is no more that they can teach her and she must now leave and make her way in the human world. Now she must embark on living in the human world that she never knew leaving behind the only life, the only people she's ever known. Just what is Jessa going to do now and how is she going to fit into this world, when she never fit into the world she's leaving behind?

What happened to Jessa and Dhiren? Do they safely turn to gold dragons or will they fail before they even begin? What about the traitor that brought enemies through the elven lands? This is a sequel to The Adventures of Jessa. It is part two of a three part trilogy and it must be read in order to make sense.
