When the duo gets a hero's welcome in town, Captain Underpants, George and Harold become very jealous, at the same time Melvin plots to steal the new weapon while framing Captain Underpants. Moon Girl and Captain Underpants must team up to defeat Melvin. Note: The story takes place between Season 2 episodes 12 and 13 of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosuar, and takes place in an Alternate Continuity where Captain Underpants books 8-12 don't happen, the kids form Netflix Series appearing, and the cliffhanger in book 7 with the purple potty doesn't happen.
