In the moon-launching 1960's, a shy journalist and wannabe film-maker, Gavrial Anand, is invited to his best friend's wedding in Star Bay, Hawaii; along with Callie Vida, the bridesmaid who appears to have nothing but disdain for him, at first. As Gavri carves out a new name for himself as 'Gabe Radigan', and discovers his 'inner mahu', so too does Mele, a local but well-traveled lab assistant, try to make herself a bigger part of the Astor Foundation, which she's naively looked up to her entire life. Meanwhile, Gavrial has been tasked with making a documentary about its founder, Heinz Astor, a corporate retiree around whom the very world once seemed to revolve. What starts out as a matrimonial vacation/business trip soon becomes a strange island tour of WWII aftermath, mainland exploitation, family trauma, and severe emotional repression. [Rated 18A]

THEY WANTED TO WIN THE SPACE RACE. THEY BUILT THE GREATEST LIE IN HUMAN HISTORY. JULY 1969. The world holds its breath as Nate Armstrong takes his historic first step. In living rooms across America, families cheer, patriots weep, and the United States triumphs over the Soviet Union in a decisive victory for the free world. But every word is a lie. Leo Croft, a brilliant but disillusioned special effects wizard, is recruited by a shadowy government official for a "patriotic project" of unimaginable scale. He is taken to a clandestine soundstage in the Nevada desert, where he is given an impossible task: if America cannot reach the moon, he must fake it. Driven by artistic pride and Cold War fear, Leo uses all his genius to build the ultimate illusion. But as the line between reality and deception blurs, Leo discovers the terrifying truth: the conspiracy he serves is more ruthless than he ever imagined. Those who work on the project are not patriots-they are prisoners. And those who ask too many questions have a habit of meeting with fatal "accidents." Now, hunted by the very machine he helped create and with a tenacious journalist-his own estranged wife-closing in on the truth, Leo must make an impossible choice. Expose the lie and risk shattering the nation's faith, triggering global chaos... or become the permanent guardian of a secret that would forever distort history. *A stunning, genre-bending thriller that reimagines the 20th century's greatest achievement, * America's One Small Lie is a gripping tale of artistic integrity, moral compromise, and the devastating cost of a lie that united the world.

Enter the world of Nadzieja, a world of wizards, elves, dwarves, werewolves, and vampires, and follow the adventures of wizard Charles Moad. Please note that I may occasionally update previous chapters mainly because I want either to improve or add extra information so do be warned. My story will use a variety of different languages mainly European Spanish, Polish, German, Japanese, and Swahili, luckily I will provide a pronunciation guide to help everyone. Also please note I am mainly writing for fun and I am an amateur writer so my story may not be that good. Also, follow me on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/gwiezdny_rycerz_pjw/

The Vulcans are isolating themselves from the UFOP, and Troi and Riker are alone on Vulcan to deal with the social and political consequences. Meanwhile, the Enterprise is facing its captains greatest fear: The Borg. Can the Doctor help to save them all? "I like to drop in and save the day for people who can't sort out their problems on their own. I tell myself it's for people's own good, they need me because I'm much cleverer than them. But Star Fleet? You're about as smart as the human race gets. You've put all the ignorance and the bigotry and warmongering behind you, and you've finally embraced knowledge and science and co-operation, and you're spreading your wings! And look at you!" The Doctor gestured down at the Enterprise below them "Look at what you've achieved. This - you - you're humanity's finest hour. And maybe that's why I've been avoiding you. Because... you just don't need me anymore." Canon, Troi and Riker

In the animal kingdom, the rule is, eat or be eaten; in the human kingdom, define or be defined. Thomas Szasz The rule in the spirit kingdom is, believe or be believed in. What's the difference between the three of them, really? But humans are not ones to leave things as indefinite as faith alone. And spirits fade beneath the spotlight of reality. Believing in someone means giving them power over you. And the man in the moon uses that power to survive, at all cost. Pitch is not on board with being consumed by the man in the moon. There is only one way out, if he can only convince the guardians to help him.

Hello guys, First of all: sorry for my english, it's not my native language (which is french FYI). I choose to write in english because Robert is not that much famous in the french part of the world so I guessed I'll have more reader in english. That story is not really a fanfiction as it really happened. I was lucky enough to be an extra on the set of Moonwalkers.( I enrolled on this adventure only because of Robert and his curls ;-) I thought it would be fun to tell the story because it went beyond all my expectations (WARNING: NO adult content though "sight") And as the movie is out, it can be fun for you to discover some behind the scene and get to know the real Robert Sheehan, and believe me, you won't be disappointed as he's even nicer than he seems ;-) (and I hope he's never gonna read those lines...But I'm pretty sure he googles himself regularly, so who know ?)
