An all year round Kotlc contest

In New York: Humans are going missing. First it was just one, and then it was two, and suddenly they were disappearing every week and no one knows who is behind it. In The Lost Cities: The Neverseen haven't struck in months and the Council and Black Swan are in the dark, with no idea what is going to happen next. In Camp Half-Blood: Percy Jackson has gone missing, again, the Olympians have confirmed it was not them, and his mother said the last time she saw him, he was leaving the appartment to take a walk in the park. In The Lost Cities: The Council and the Black Swan have heard about the disappearances, so they sent the Moonlark and her friends to investigate. When the elves find the demigods, what will happen? Will they become allies? Or will they misunderstand and become enemies? I do not own KOTLC or PJO, I do own some minor characters and the plot, but that is it. I do not own the cover.

*NOTE* THIS IS A FANFICTION- none of the characters and cover art belong to me So with two weeks until UNLOCKED, I figured I was going to die from waiting, so here's a great filler fanfic. Writing it helped the wait, and was a lot of fun, too. I will also be writing a fanfic of book 9 once I am done reading UNLOCKED. This takes place a few months after the end of LEGACY. It does not cover what was in the cache. and has no relation to information released about unlocked. And yes, I did choose a legacy rejected title as the title of this fanfic. It just felt too fitting, with the pun AND the way it matched the events relative to the series. But don't worry, this is completely new and original. Just don't be surprised if a few fan theories snuck in there...

Ok soooo, this is my first story, so please give me thoughts and opinions! A little backstory: I was wondering what would happen if there were two moonlarks instead of one. So I decided on adding another girl to the story. Her story is similar to Sophie's and they knew each other. I really hope you all like it! Actual Description lol! : 12 year old Caitlyn Dream has a secret. She has been hearing thoughts since she was 8, and she has an unexplained magic. She can manipulate pure energy in different ways. She needs answers to her rising powers, because keeping them to herself is becoming harder every single day. Caitlyn is also oddly smart, at a high school level as well. One of her classmates, Sophie Foster is suspicious however. For some unknown reason, Caitlyn cannot hear her thoughts. They are the only 12 year old seniors in their school, and hated by the others. They have a blossoming friendship, but each holds a secret. Note: I do not own any of these characters, the wonderful Shannon Messenger does. Please please please go read her wonderful books!

Edaline and Grady's relationship starts off rocky since people think that Grady mesmerized Edaline into liking him. But after a few challenges, they prove everyone that disagrees with them wrong.
