When an elderly woman dies, a small town sheriff goes on the hunt to find out what happened to her. Her scars are decades old, but it's his job to find out why an old woman who has been a member of the community for years had been beaten and tortured. The only person who might be able to answer his questions is the woman's best friend. Does she have the answers and is she willing to tell him their secrets?
