BOOK TWO Moonsplash has gone to StarClan, and now her two kits, Leafkit and Sunkit, are finally becoming apprentices. Braveheart, Moonsplash's mate, often talks to her through dreams, and has just received an urgent message. Leafkit begins to show unnatural behavior; why is she acting so different? Sunkit becomes jealous of the attention her sister is getting, often treating her sister badly for it.
