In Varian's hands no less? This takes place after the finally, but somehow Varian got hold of the Moonstone shard after that fight. Only two weeks after been thrown to prison, Varian's dreams are haunted by memories of his past, as well as a cold, female voice which also happens to terrify Rapunzel, who is still following the rocks with a newfound sense of uneasiness. What will happen when Varian is forcefully broken out of prison and captured? Will Rapunzel make it in time to rescue him? Read and find out! (I obviously don't own anything)

SEQUEL TO "ALCHEMIST OUT OF CORONA." After joining the gang in season 2, Varian returns to Corona. The recent events in the Dark Kingdom have left him exhausted, physically and mentally. But more challenges await our favorite alchemist... Will he discover why he has a strange connection to the Moon Stone? Can he manage to get through to Cass, or will his efforts only attract unwanted attention from an ancient evil that seems to have been pulling the strings all along? Similar to the first book, this one basically reads as a novelization of the third season, while adding my own changes and including Varian in every episode.

When the Sundrop and the Moonstone fell to the Earth, the Moonstone was accidentally chipped in its fall through the atmosphere. This little chipped off piece fell into the ocean and became something entirely new: the Seastone. The Seastone lay dormant and unused at the bottom of the ocean for so many years until, eventually, it found someone to be its host: a young alchemist by the name of Varian. At the age of sixteen, held in Cassandra's fortress, Varian learns about the third divine power and soon unites with his gift. But will it help him return to the kingdom and escape his kidnapper or convince him to return to the dark once again? Varian is living his normal life as Corona's royal engineer until one of his experiments goes wrong. He must find out how to deal with this problem despite a few psychotic thoughts. Even so, the Moonstone keeps tampering with him. What will he do?

A devastated Rapunzel returns to find her kingdom overthrown by escaped prisoners. Worse yet, Cassandra- who now has possession of the MoonStone- has teamed up with one of her oldest enemies, and gave him power over the black rocks.

This story is inspired by 'darkness exists to make light truly count' by AquaQuadrant on AO3. What if Varian was the moondrop? What if he was kidnapped by Gothel? What if Varian and Rapunzel were raised as siblings?

!Sorta discontinued? Idrk, I might update it if I feel like it but who knows! Varian sat in his isolated cell, staring at the cold stone wall as he wondered why everything had come to this. Everyone in his village, heck even the entire kingdom, thought he was strange. Not because of his intelligence or his obsession with science but because of the unusual blue streak in his hair that had been their for as long as he could remember. Little did he know, that tiny streak held great power and would soon lead him on an adventure greater than he could ever imagine. Warning: There will be minor swearing and triggering themes such as torture and ptsd!!

Varian has been in prison for four months. Four long and boring months. Either with good luck or terrible luck. Varian came up with a plan. Little did he know, he would be getting out of prison sooner then he thought and a new power will overtake his world. Will, he accepts Rapunzel's help and learn to control his new abilities and return to the light. Or will he turn her away and get pulled into the darkness. I'll try to update every week. Rapunzel had gone to Varian to figure it out. "Varian, what could it be? y/n and the moonstone are gone." Varian shook his head, "no, you're wrong. y/n's still here, and she's become the moonstone."

Two months after escaping Gothel's tower, Rapunzel and Varian join a Seven Kingdoms event, the "Contest of the Crowns"! (Takes place between "Light of the Moon" and "The Moon Calls".)
