SEQUEL TO "ALCHEMIST OUT OF CORONA." After joining the gang in season 2, Varian returns to Corona. The recent events in the Dark Kingdom have left him exhausted, physically and mentally. But more challenges await our favorite alchemist... Will he discover why he has a strange connection to the Moon Stone? Can he manage to get through to Cass, or will his efforts only attract unwanted attention from an ancient evil that seems to have been pulling the strings all along? Similar to the first book, this one basically reads as a novelization of the third season, while adding my own changes and including Varian in every episode.

From that moment on, Varian was granted strange and terrifying abilities with the capability of freezing anything and anyone, as well as make any life he touches wither away, the poison of the Moonstone. Now, Varian, Lumirae and Hugo, along with new allies, a bold rogue named Jericho and a jaded hacker child, Nine, are on a quest to the Dark Kingdom, to defeat the Shadow Queen, the source of the vampire, and take the Moonstone, Varian believing that it would bring back Quirin, however strange things occur with Obsidian, a vampire hunter who craves the darkness Varian wields is hot on his trail, Princess Rapunzel, Varian's older sister, who isn't on the best terms with her brother, tries to find him with the help of her fiance, Cassandra, Varian questions his gender identity, struggles to keep his new powers hidden from everyone, and his growing crush on Hugo slowly becomes more dominant.. and incredibly dangerous..

After the battle at Cassandra's Tower, Varian finds the broken shard of the Moonstone. But doesn't tell Rapunzel. What happens after Zhan Tiri is gone, but a shard of the moon remains? In Varian's hands no less? This takes place after the finally, but somehow Varian got hold of the Moonstone shard after that fight. It's been a year since Varian was locked in jail and each day his anger grows. Soon a quick turn of events happen and he breaks out and finds a secret that his dad kept from him for a long time.

A Tangled the Series fanfic Rapunzel, Cass and Lance arrives at a dark kingdom named Sydeia were they meet a prince and young alchemist. Together they learn search for the moonstone that went missing years ago.

"Y/N! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" "what I have to. Varian, I love you." y/n touched the stone and a white flash pierced their eyes. |-| |-| |-||-| |-| |-| |-| two years later, y/n had disappeared and Varian had become isolated. that was until, Rapunzel's hair began glowing and controlling her body movements. Rapunzel had gone to Varian to figure it out. "Varian, what could it be? y/n and the moonstone are gone." Varian shook his head, "no, you're wrong. y/n's still here, and she's become the moonstone."

Varian pushed himself to the limit through the raging blizzard but his efforts were in vain as he was quickly thrown back out in it again, however he did not quite manage it back. Luckily, he was saved in time by a dog and a pair of strangers from some far away land. They stand by him during this very difficult time despite the risks to themselves.
