Addison Ellody is the normal shy girl / bookworm. She volunteers at the library, most of her 2-year old sister's books are bigger than her social life, and has never dated a boy, even though she's 18. Suddenly, a tsunami (hence the title) reeks havoc on her small town of Valley Stream, Long Island. Can Addison survive, and if she does what little of the life she had will be left?
