She gives birth one night during autumn and names her male bear cub Desiree, meaning "long awaited". Laqueta has to get used to living with another, much less mature, bear, and it takes a while for her to understand that being alone isn't the only way to live. I actually working on a short that's inspired by a serious conversation with my mom, it's about how it's not a good idea to go help women (and men) in domestic violence situation because they would turn on you in the end despite you helping them.
