After almost being the last victim of one of the most vicious killers the BAU has ever seen, Derek decided to take in the infant orphan upon hearing the horrible accounts of the local foster homes, and he definitely was not about to turn her over to the State, so he took matters into his own hands. Darci was pretty much raised by the entire team; Quantico being like her second home. She had a very close relationship with Derek, and with the rest of the team as well, and she was often reported calling Garcia "Mom" on more than one occasion. So, if you were to ask her who her parents were, she would proudly announce they were Derek Morgan and Penelope Garcia. Darci was also extremely interested in profiling and all things tech, and she was studying hard to be in the Academy one day and work in the BAU, just like her parents. Growing up, she was given old cases to "study" and "solve" in her perspective. Her life was paradise for her so far...until she meddled too far into a case close to the Bureau. When Darci discovers a missing piece to a past case the rest of the team is working on, she discovers she's way over her head and finds herself in a very twisted, inescapable mess...
