Peace has come to Tamriel and Westeros and the two realms share an alliance. Talion Dovahkiir now a young man has mastered the Thu'um and become Dovahkiin like his father the Dragonborn. Eddard Stark Dovahkiir, son of Arya Stark and Kellian Dovahkiir shows promise in the way of the Voice. For the Dragonborn and his wife Daenerys, they cannot be any happier. Their enemies have been defeated and their daughter Brianna is now Master of the Blades. But evil never truly dies for the ancient enemies of Middle-earth have escaped imprisonment and seek to destroy not only the Kingdom of Gondor, but Tamriel, the Northern Kingdoms and Westeros.

When Ayla, a full time nerd, has an accident, she goes into a deep coma. What the doctors don't know is that during this deep sleep she is actually helping the fellowship destroy the ring. Ayla, having read the books various times knows everything that happens. She will try to change things to save her new friends but.... will changing the course of the story affect middle-earth for the better or the worse? Ember Skygem is a Hobbit. She wasn't the prettiest Hobbit (to herself that is. She had no idea what others thought), but she was quite talented. Ember took lessons from Elvish blacksmiths. She learned how to make weapons and jewlery. Her favorite things to make were rings; consequently, her collection was large. But a horrific memory keeps following her, so Ember goes to her adoptive Aunt's house every few months, who lives in Bree. Her Aunt helps her distract her from the memory when her adoptive parents are too busy to help her themselves. But when 4 hobbits walk into the bar of the inn, Ember is faced with a choice: find out what is so secretive about these hobbits and have the memory present in her mind, or stay with her Aunt to temporarily forget the stalking horror? ---------- The only character I know in Ember unless I say so otherwise. The rest I give full credit to J. R. R. Tolkien, the best author in the world. I will do my best to incorporate details from the book, but I will mostly be going off the movie because that is just easier. And for those of you who really care, this is a Frodo fanfic.
