Most if not all of these poems were written years ago. I used writing as another source of self expression and a sort of therapy. I wrote a lot at the time and lost a few of my writings. Here are a few that I found and liked. Hopefully I get to write a few new ones as I find inspiration in the old. I'll post them as I get the chance to do so. I also plan on drawing something in relation to each poem. I've been drawing since I was little and I have never really stopped. I do not have the time to draw like I used to due to work but I always get around to it eventually.

I can play this, he thinks absentmindedly, and reaches down for the player to pause it, thinking even more if that's the song he should learn for Bill. Sure, it's a little bit like a slow love song you dance to at prom, but Ted's guitar skills are about at that same level. And if he's set to play Bill a song, this is a good way to go about it.

Through time shadows have been used in writing to display imagery of darkness. They have been used to capture feelings of uncertainty, deceit, negativity, and shame. On my journey this far I have danced with uncertainty, sat with deceit, ran from negativity, and slept with my shame. This book will take you on a journey through all these representations of shadows. It's going to show how I never stepped out of my darkness, I stepped into it. I danced with my darkness. I turned all my shadows into beautiful silhouettes. I hope you use these poems and words to find healing within yourself. There is always light, so shine brightly.
