Most if not all of these poems were written years ago. I used writing as another source of self expression and a sort of therapy. I wrote a lot at the time and lost a few of my writings. Here are a few that I found and liked. Hopefully I get to write a few new ones as I find inspiration in the old. I'll post them as I get the chance to do so. I also plan on drawing something in relation to each poem. I've been drawing since I was little and I have never really stopped. I do not have the time to draw like I used to due to work but I always get around to it eventually.

This book will take you on a journey through all these representations of shadows. It's going to show how I never stepped out of my darkness, I stepped into it. I danced with my darkness. I turned all my shadows into beautiful silhouettes. I hope you use these poems and words to find healing within yourself. There is always light, so shine brightly.

I can play this, he thinks absentmindedly, and reaches down for the player to pause it, thinking even more if that's the song he should learn for Bill.
