Emma Walker. Known because of her dad, Paul Walker's death. Wants to stop living in this shadow that she feels like she's now living in and make a name for herself. Her little sister Meadow who is 17, wants to stay in LA and attend UCLA and be involved full time with one of their father's organizations. While Emma who is 18 (she took a gap year) wants to get as far away from California that she can get. Away from the image of the Emma Walker only being known because she lost her father 3 years ago. She wants to make a name for herself. She wants to be known as Emma Walker, medical student and soccer star. Yes, she is hopefully one day going to work for one of her father's organizations and help people around the world but right now she wants to go somewhere where people don't really know her. Where all eyes aren't on her because of her dad. That's why she is going to the University of Toronto. Where she's majoring in Medicine and is a UT soccer player. Along the way, she meets a certain hockey player that is about to change both of their lives for the better and help each other heal in different ways. Will Emma find love? Will she ever be happy again? This is a fictional story. Paul Walker only has one daughter but for this story he has 2 and that's who the OC is.

When Y/N and her friend go clubbing one weekend in Toronto, they meet some boys who they find out, play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Y/N gets close to their star defenceman Morgan Rielly that night and their "relationship" grows from there. She's hoping that their "relationship" blossoms into something special, but he seems to think differently...
