Mamono and the Oders armies clash over an ancient sealed beast, both wanting the creatures power for themselves. They end up awakening the creature, but completely ignores them, flying away after it awakes.

An elf awakens on the shores of Cuiviénen and discovers she is not alone. Thrust into a tribe and discovering her mate too early, she struggles to find herself as her people unite in their struggles against Morgoth. When Oromë comes, will they follow? ---- Middle Earth belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien, as do most all of the named characters aside from Tindómiel and Lómion. I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age. Peace has come to Tamriel and Westeros and the two realms share an alliance. Talion Dovahkiir now a young man has mastered the Thu'um and become Dovahkiin like his father the Dragonborn. Eddard Stark Dovahkiir, son of Arya Stark and Kellian Dovahkiir shows promise in the way of the Voice. For the Dragonborn and his wife Daenerys, they cannot be any happier. Their enemies have been defeated and their daughter Brianna is now Master of the Blades. But evil never truly dies for the ancient enemies of Middle-earth have escaped imprisonment and seek to destroy not only the Kingdom of Gondor, but Tamriel, the Northern Kingdoms and Westeros.

The Fourth Age dawned in peace. But peace is a seed easily withered. Long have the kingdoms of Men prospered beneath the rule of the King Elessar, and in the North, Gerithor, once a ranger and warrior of renown, now serves as Warden, keeping order in a land once scarred by war. Though he trains his children in the ways of leadership and arms, his own days of high adventure seem long behind him. But the East does not sleep. When a cloaked stranger brings word of a rising darkness beyond the lands of Mordor, old fears stir anew. A forgotten threat, older than the crowns of Men, begins to stir-and the burden of defiance falls not to the heroes of old, but to their sons and daughters. Now the Children of the North must rise, for the fate of Middle-earth once more hangs by a thread.

Morgoth's son and Sauron's daughter have grown weary of their fathers' treatment of the elves and run to their uncles, (maedhros and maglor... their sister is an OC of mine) Will they make friends there? A prose re-telling of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lay of Leithian, this relates the full story of the love and labors of Beren and Luthien in the First Age of Middle-earth. This is aimed primarily at Tolkien fans who want the full story but who do not want to read the original Lay. I have tried to keep my own intrusions to the minimum necessary in order to keep the story moving, and I have also tried to capture both the style and spirit of the original Lay in prose form as much as possible. I have used other sources, most notably The History of Middle-earth book series, for where the Lay ends uncompleted. This manuscript was originally completed in 1997, revised considerably in 2009, and is returning to the Internet in 2017 after an eight-year hiatus. It is my gift to Tolkien fandom. No infringement intended and implied (and all that), and I hope it remains both free and freely available to all from now on.

This tale was the winner of the "Runes of Daeron" Contest, made by the Conselho Branco - Sociedade Tolkien - a non-profit brazilian organization created to study and publicize the fantastic work of writer, professor and philologist J.R.R. Tolkien. It was published in issue 22 of the Council's newsletter, "O Palantir", in 2012. As a big fan, it's an honor for me. The tale accompanies the conversations of a Balrog with the elf Fëanor. In the mythology created by Tolkien in The Silmarillion, Fëanor rebelled against the gods, and after his death his cursed spirit retreated into the halls of Mandos and never returned to his relatives. The Balrog (also known as Valarauko) decides to tell his story, from the origin of the world, to the elf, because he thinks it will make a difference in his life.

To spy, acquire information and to impress his master, Mairon decides to pass the road of Helcaraxë all by himself... Melkor soon realizes, that he shouldn't have let his beloved leave, but has another way to look after him... Inspired by the song "Flamme Im Wind" by Lacrimosa.

The War of The Ring is impending, but Melkor, the first evil to darken Middle Earth is returning, and light has to rise to meet it. Four children of the Valar - the Gods of Middle Earth - have been raised to fight this battle. But fear, trials, and romance dot their path to victory.
