This is the Tale of Adanel, found in Volume X of the History of Middle Earth, written by J.R.R. Tolkien, and published by Christopher R. Tolkien. I claim no ownership over this story. All rights belong to the Tolkien Estate, and the Tale was written by Professor John Tolkien. I am only publishing this to shed some light, on a less known portion of Tolkien's mythology, and increase awareness of it.

Dude I have been reading and rereading SO MANY of J.R.R. Tolkien's lovely works and this stuff needs to be made, it just does. This may upload at least once a day, if I'm lucky. DISCLAIMER: This is for humor's sake alone, I make jokes all the time while reading and sometimes this is what I come up with. It's not meant to argue lore or make any ultimate statement about characters. (Also, there will probably be a few incorrect quotes that are not from Middle Earth, and instead from Tolkien's renditions of Beowulf, the Arthuric tales, etc. I also love those. :D) Cover art is a dumbass Boromir meme I threw together. :P

This is an Angbang/Silmarillion fanfic written by me and the incredible @SweetieDoggie. In which an irritable Melkor, a disaster-prone Mairon and an unfortunate Maedhros all end up in the same fortress, so naturally chaos ensues.

An elf awakens on the shores of Cuiviénen and discovers she is not alone. Thrust into a tribe and discovering her mate too early, she struggles to find herself as her people unite in their struggles against Morgoth. When Oromë comes, will they follow? ---- Middle Earth belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien, as do most all of the named characters aside from Tindómiel and Lómion. I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age. This story has mild use of Quenya, which is mostly translated at the end of each part. ---- Some reviews courtesy of the Undiscovered Gems judges: Beckyking87: “This book was fantastical; it reminded me of reading one of Tolkien's works :-) Absolutely brilliant." ThirteenthChild: “BTW, I absolutely love J.R.R Tolkien's books. :D The parts are a bit short, but I really love how the author describes everything, and provides terms for the reader. The idea is really cool :D” viogirl9: “I simply loved the beginning. The descriptions were beautiful and the way the author portrayed the setting was excellent and visionary.”

Lord of the Rings/Hobbit/Silmarillion fanfiction Tauriel Thranduiliel had run away. She couldn't take it anymore; after the death of her mother when she was scarcely 100 years old, her father had become more and more protective of her and her brother, Legolas. It broke her heart, but finally, she slipped past the guards and into the dark forest. She couldn't have then imagined the chaos and destruction that came from that decision. Combination book- and movie-canon DISCLAIMER: My character Tauriel and the character from the Hobbit have no connection other than name (the latter doesn't exist in this story). I don't own The Lord Of The Rings series or anything to do with it. Art featured in this book is not mine.

This is a retelling of the story of Tuor and the fall of the legendary Elven city of Gondolin. It is based on the original 1918 version by J.R.R. Tolkien himself, but updated as much as possible thanks to additional material from both Unfinished Tales (the later Tuor) and The History of Middle-earth series. I must also admit to interpolating my own narrative additions, where definitive source material was lacking, in an effort to round out the story and make it more entertaining for modern audiences. Finally, it is a self-contained story. That is, you don't have to know anything about the world of Middle-earth in order to read and enjoy it. No infringement intended or implied. Long unavailable on the Internet, but now available once again. Written by a Tolkien fan for the enjoyment of fellow Tolkien fans worldwide.

The house of Finwë had never been known for it's welcoming nature. Whilst many were led to believe this was due to the Oath of Fëanor, the fell vow to kill those who laid hands on the Silmarli, the reality was much worse. Finwë himself was a kind and open ellon, and Míriel, his first wife, was as well. It wasn't the Oath that changed everything, it was Míriel's death, and Fëanor's sudden spiral into relative madness, driven by the one they called Melkor, into hiding his greatest creation, and then losing them to that very man. The poisoning of Melkor outreached his purpose, and became his downfall. For if he had not taken the Silmarili, he would never have been the goal of Beren's ill fated mission, nor would one Silmaril make it's way to the Nauglamir, nor into the hands of Dior, to Elwing, to the Valar and turn the tide. For though much ruin came about with them, they became the single sparkling light of hope, even upon a dark crown. This is a story of Arda without Beren- and subsequently, without hope- and how one Maia manages to cave the cowardly heart of a dark immortal king to her purposes, and perhaps, to victory over the darkness of the land.

This tale was the winner of the "Runes of Daeron" Contest, made by the Conselho Branco - Sociedade Tolkien - a non-profit brazilian organization created to study and publicize the fantastic work of writer, professor and philologist J.R.R. Tolkien. It was published in issue 22 of the Council's newsletter, "O Palantir", in 2012. As a big fan, it's an honor for me. The tale accompanies the conversations of a Balrog with the elf Fëanor. In the mythology created by Tolkien in The Silmarillion, Fëanor rebelled against the gods, and after his death his cursed spirit retreated into the halls of Mandos and never returned to his relatives. The Balrog (also known as Valarauko) decides to tell his story, from the origin of the world, to the elf, because he thinks it will make a difference in his life.

One Shot's of LOTR and The Hobbit, I do popular and unpopular people from Middle Earth - even if your've got a wee like for a person that is only mentioned in the books, still free to request. I do tend to research the requests quiet a lot. If information is not true that is because I have fitted the characters into a plot line with out any fussy loss ends and both that is in-between the book and movie.

A wailing cry. A cursed prince. A mystical pool. Fingon may have rescued Meadhros from Angbad, but the young King now grapples with himself, desperately trying to free his heart from the chains of captivity-and from a deep and terrible guilt. The wailing song of the accursed Siren maybe the key to his healing-or his demise. I own nothing! I hope you all enjoy.

Valinor was never meant to bleed. In the twilight of the Two Trees, before exile, before oath, before doom, there lived a daughter the songs forgot-Írissë Fëanárel, child of fire and quiet grace. Beloved by beasts, feared by darkness, and bound by a lineage older than the world, she saw what others refused to see. When Morgoth returned and the light began to die, it was not kings or Valar who stood first beneath the Trees-but a young woman with a blade, a broken heart, and a choice. From the betrayal of the burning ships to the grinding death of the Helcaraxë, from shattered families to oaths that curse generations, The Rose and the Fire retells the Silmarillion through love, loss, and the cost of standing alone. This is not a story of what was written. This is the story of what it cost.
