Working Title: Overcast Keeping it together was hard enough. Then he showed up. Something about him has her insides screaming to run, and to run far. Now, Krysta's no stranger to the bizarre, you know?, what with her 'witch' of a grandmother and all, but... something about this guy has her hair standing on end. From the hungry look in his dark eyes to his uncanny stillness, there's just something so predatory about Adrian. And then, of course, he's not the only thing taking up real-estate in her mind -oh no, no, sir, not by a country-mile. From helping her mother -with whom she has a strained relationship-tend to a practical army of siblings, to a new school of culture barriers, to the mysterious pattern of violent murders that seem to be getting closer, there's a million things going on and only 23.93 hours in a day. And that's not even getting into the shit in her head. If things keep piling up-and if she's not careful about it--Krysta just might wind up in the hospital again...

She secretly married a governor. Then angels broke into her house. Rosandra Ferguson thought her biggest problem was telling her Mormon family she'd secretly married Brandon Phelps, a rising political star with presidential ambitions. She was wrong. Because the night after her wedding is supposed to go public, two reporters break into her mansion looking for buried family secrets-and they're stopped by an archangel, two demons, and a message that could change the future of humanity. Now Rosandra is caught between heaven, politics, family scandals, polygamist relatives, and a destiny she doesn't remember agreeing to. And somewhere in the middle of it all, her beautiful, attention-hungry sister seems a little too interested in her husband. Perfect. A satirical supernatural drama full of angels, demons, Mormon culture, political intrigue, family chaos, and one woman trying to survive all of it.

I am a gay trans man who is disabled and also happens to be Mormon. This is an account of what I've learned in the Mormon church. No one in the church knows of my true identity. Here I prove the various sources that Mormons use to justify their blatant homophobia, transphobia, etc. false. I have written this for anyone who needs a reminder that God loves them exactly as they are. It's also for anyone who wants to educate themselves and finally start loving all of God's children as Christ Himself would. If the church does not truly love and accept all of God's children, the church will die.

College and working were the only two things on your mind. You had nothing else to worry about except getting your degree and keeping bills paid. Until you meet Dinah. You knew from the moment you met her that if it ever got serious you would have to take on the problems in her life. But after getting to know her, you were willing to help carry some of her baggage. As things escalate both with your relationship and with her life, it seems like what started as a great thing might be a little more complicated. And the complications only continue as you start to meet her family and vice versa. With all these problems that come with dating her, would it be too much for you to handle in the end or will you always stay running with her? WARNING ⚠️: This story DOES contain some violence associated with murder. NONE of it is physical or mental domestic violence, but there are a few chapters that involve argument scenes that get really intense and others that mention religion (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, i.e. Mormon). I did my research and stuck to what I found as best I could to portray the religions beliefs as best as I could. But due to the topics brought up, it could make some uncomfortable. Especially if this is your religion. There are also mentions of mental illness. This story also contains talks about drugs (marijuana), the selling of said drugs, as well as the smoking/ingestion of it. If you have a problem with any of the things mentioned above, please do not read this book. This is the first warning. The second, and last, warning will be at the very beginning of the Introduction chapter and that's it.

This isn't a story per say, it's more of a Q and A. You ask me questions about my church, and I will do my best to answer them using examples, stories from my life, quotes, etc. I don't know all of the answers, obviously, I'm only 14 after all, but I care deeply about my religion. Don't base everything about this church off of what I say, I don't want to make any of you hate it because of a mistake I make. I apologize and understand if you don't agree with everything I have to say, but please keep from bullying what I say, because this is something that I find true joy in, and if you don't, just don't read it. Thanks!

"The new recruits are here!" i say as i rush into the room. I gawk at the taller one of the two, his swooshy brown hair and doe-like brown eyes, his tight-fitting top and that smile... that smile that could kill a thousand starstruck girls... Or Mormon boys for that matter, because i felt like I could've died in that moment.

Break-ups happen, and they suck. After six years - five dancing around the topic and one actually dating - my boyfriend breaks it off with me. There's no emotion, no explanation, and no closure. He's in the middle of his missionary program, too, so I legit can't drive over and demand to know why. The closest I can do is go on a road trip to find ingredients for a ritual, for which I found the instructions, to heal my heartbreak and move on. It'll take 2 weeks to go to Alexandria, Savannah, and then finally in Santa Monica, where I make the potion and perform the ritual under the new moon. I'm not sure if it'll work completely, but fingers crossed, it'll stop me from always thinking about my ex. Coincidentally, I pick up a cute hitchhiker - a church girl who goes by Nevie, amps her churchsona on Sundays, and acts like her serious self for the rest of the week. We're getting along like a house on fire, just until I drop off at her destination in Sacramento. It's a great idea in the beginning, but the more time I spend with Nevie, the less I'm okay about the plan. (lowkey im probably attracted to her but i dont wanna face it so shh) My name's Meredith Sourd, and I'm spending 2 weeks getting myself out of this rabbit hole.

"Shiloh." I held her chin in my hand so she would have to look at me. Shiloh flinched and it reminded me of the first time I had talked to her. Slowly rain began to fall but I could hardly feel their cold bites. She was looking up at me and I was frozen by her dark blue eyes. Her intense stare was holding me in my place. Suddenly a tear rolled down her cheek but she didn't stop looking at me. Something was different about this. I had never seen her look like this. Pleading and desperate but sad at the same time. There was also something else that went along with her gaze. I couldn't place what it was but it wasn't a negative emotion. It was like a small lighthouse in her deep stormy ocean eyes. "Don't go on the date." .... Noah Carter started his Junior year with everything. Little did he realize that everything was going to be flipped upside down and tossed out the window when an odd girl walked into his life. Her name was Shiloh Eastwood. Shiloh Eastwood started her Junior year with nothing except her little sister, Payton. Little did she realize that the king of the social crowds was to be her best friend in her world. His name was Noah Carter. The unlikely friends received judgement in all different way shapes and forms but they stand by each other through everything and everyone. And as soon as that happens people realize that their friendship is something a little different. (Used to be Something Different)

This collection of short stories has been described as "cleverly suspense," "thoroughly enlightening," and "thought provoking" in Amazon reviews. The stories are inspired by the culture in which I was born and raised, and in which I live today. Here in the Intermountain West, stretching from Nevada through Utah and into Idaho, is the region sociologists sometimes call the "Mormon Corridor". Interstate Fifteen now runs straight up through this area, through deserts and mountains and grasslands. All along this stretch of busy interstate are the villages, towns and cities built by Mormon Pioneers, and which are still populated largely by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I did not write these stories only for Mormons, but for anyone who enjoys learning about humanity. I hope that everyone who reads it will find it interesting and emotionally satisfying. You may look at the Amazon reviews for an idea about what readers have thought about it so far. READER'S GUIDE: There is no explicit sex, no vulgarity, and although there is death, it is not gory. I treat death with care, even reverence. I also treat my culture and its religion with respect, without heaping overt praise or criticism. I'll be adding a new story every week or two...whenever I remember to do so. The paperback is available on Amazon and most other online retailers. The ebook is available on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.
