Just as the title says.

I was moved to write this story in an effort to educate people about God, His laws and how it caused me to separate myself from a religion I practiced for nearly 40 years. I also hope to inspire others to gain an interest and perhaps, as I have obtained, a passion for studying Biblical Hebrew. I will also uncover a centuries old conspiracy to conceal the actual name of God! Another purpose is to dispel some myths that people that leave The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints leave for only two reasons; they have lost faith, or they have been offended by someone. This is not the case with me, and I believe there is a growing number of people who have left for similar reasons. I want to be clear, my intent is not to destroy the church. I do not have any animosity towards the church nor the leaders or members. I acknowledge many members and leaders of the church are truly dedicated to living the gospel the best they know how. I also have great empathy for current members of the church as just a few years ago, I was a devout member of the church myself!

These are going to be my spiritual thoughts on my religion: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We are also known as LDS, or Mormons. Yep, that's right, I'm a mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

hello readers !! this is a mormon love story, or maybe it's more of a love story that has elements of mormonism. i myself am not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but i do have a deep fascination with the religion, it's people, and the culture. i will do my very best to respect the culture and the church, as i would want someone to do for my own religion. if there ever comes a point in my writing in which maybe there's something missing or i used a slang word wrong, please feel free to give me tips/suggestion on how to make the story more enjoyable for an LDS member. i hope that my story if a fun and entertaining read.

This message is intended for Latter-day Saints who are troubled with same-gender attraction and sometimes feel discouraged but sincerely desire to live a life pleasing to our Father in Heaven. Break-ups happen, and they suck. After six years - five dancing around the topic and one actually dating - my boyfriend breaks it off with me. There's no emotion, no explanation, and no closure. He's in the middle of his missionary program, too, so I legit can't drive over and demand to know why. The closest I can do is go on a road trip to find ingredients for a ritual, for which I found the instructions, to heal my heartbreak and move on. It'll take 2 weeks to go to Alexandria, Savannah, and then finally in Santa Monica, where I make the potion and perform the ritual under the new moon. I'm not sure if it'll work completely, but fingers crossed, it'll stop me from always thinking about my ex. Coincidentally, I pick up a cute hitchhiker - a church girl who goes by Nevie, amps her churchsona on Sundays, and acts like her serious self for the rest of the week. We're getting along like a house on fire, just until I drop off at her destination in Sacramento. It's a great idea in the beginning, but the more time I spend with Nevie, the less I'm okay about the plan. (lowkey im probably attracted to her but i dont wanna face it so shh) My name's Meredith Sourd, and I'm spending 2 weeks getting myself out of this rabbit hole.
