Overview 🦘My story will take you through my Army experiences including the dreadful inhumane mess that was the Vietnam War. Vietnam was mostly unknown to Australia before the war and whilst it is now a popular tourist destination, little is known about the war and our involvement in it. My involvement concluded with severe PTSD and a shocking journey into memory loss and a foray into the outback of Australia. Following the Vietnam disaster and my struggle with mental stress, my story will take you through my role as a recruit Instructor during national service years at the training battalion near Wagga NSW. Then a transfer to the Military Police which involved mainly training roles with the Corps and in a now forgotten loan of Australian Military Police to the British Army during the height of the troubles involving the Irish Republican Army and the Cold War security of what was West Germany whilst attached tithe British Army of the Rhine. My 20 years in the regular Army concluded as a Warrant Officer Class One. I followed on for 2 years as a training Warrant Officer in the Citizen Military Forces. Then it's onwards to read about my scary upbringing in the following 'Journey to war' story which relates my upbringing by a hateful mother culminating in an amazing journey to an extremely remote cattle station as a 12 year old. That experience presented a hard life, a huge learning curve and included a saga which now seems surreal, was this me or a movie I once saw. As is said, 'wait there's more' including the S.A public service, a dreadful shock to the system after I sneaked in as a training officer. As well, a period as a training consultant and ten years in mining management. Then life struck hard as you will understand if you decide to read on. So ! this is me, surviving Polio, being booted out of home and stranded in a lonely city far from home, later lost in the wilderness of the great outback, the trauma and legacy of personal loss.i

„Bridges of the Sahara: A Love Story Across Continents" unfolds in the late 19th century, against the backdrop of Morocco and Zimbabwe. Hakimi, a young Muslim boy from Morocco, and Makanakaishe, a Christian girl from Zimbabwe, find themselves drawn to each other despite the societal norms that frown upon such unions. In Morocco, Hakimi's family is deeply rooted in traditional values, and his love for Makanakaishe challenges those norms. Meanwhile, in Zimbabwe, Makanakaishe faces scrutiny due to her connection with a foreign culture. As the story progresses, Hakimi and Makanakaishe navigate the complexities of love and cultural differences, transcending geographical boundaries and societal expectations. Their journey is marked by resilience, understanding, and a determination to bridge the gap between their worlds. The Sahara Desert serves as both a physical and metaphorical barrier, symbolizing the challenges they must overcome. The narrative explores the vibrant cultures, historical intricacies, and the evolving landscapes of Morocco and Zimbabwe during a time when love was a revolutionary act. Through "Bridges of the Sahara," readers witness a tale of two hearts intertwined, defying the constraints of their era and laying the foundation for a love that transcends borders.

A heartfelt, halal love story between two souls brought together by faith, growth, and quiet moments. Sometimes, what's written for us finds its way beyond the lines. --- Amina Zahra begins her first year of university with quiet hopes and simple goals: focus on her studies, stay true to her faith, and avoid distractions. But when her path unexpectedly crosses with Idris Saif-a final-year Master's student known for his discipline and calm presence-everything starts to shift in ways she never imagined. In a world full of noise, temptation, and uncertainty, their connection begins to form in the silences-in shared values, unspoken glances, and moments that mean more than words. A story of faith, growth, and the quiet beauty of a bond written with purpose... beyond the lines. --- I don't allow anyone to use or adapt my story without permission.

Sutures to the Heart is an emotional, slow-burn drama that follows Leyla, a gifted Moroccan surgeon born into a powerful royal family. Seeking independence from the pressures of her privileged life, she travels to South Korea for a prestigious medical exchange program. On her flight, Leyla crosses paths with Hanni, a cheerful and witty local who instantly becomes her first true friend in Asia. But Leyla's excitement soon turns to tension when she begins working at a renowned Seoul hospital and meets Dr. Sehun, a cold, brilliant, and emotionally scarred surgeon with no patience for outsiders - especially not one with a royal background. As the hospital corridors become battlegrounds for both professional rivalry and personal growth, Leyla finds herself challenged in every way - intellectually, emotionally, and morally. Amid cultural clashes, surgical pressure, and buried trauma, Leyla and Sehun's paths entangle, stitching together a fragile thread of understanding... and maybe something more. In a story of healing, resilience, and unlikely connection, Leyla must choose between the life she left behind and the one she's stitching together - suture by suture, heart to heart.
