This story starts in Last Sacrifice after Dimitri's four words in church. Rose leaves to guard her dad and be apart of Mazur clan, but destiny had bigger things for her in store so she became The Hunter and leader of The Nightmare team. Five years later she has to come back to curt with Abe and let's see what destiny has in store for her next.

The story begins right after "Love fades." Rose runs away to the royal court. She just ran, without taking anything with her. All she wants is that the pain will go away. Love go away. Assistance came from its most unpredictable. Strigoi. He makes her one of them and take all the pain. Everyone think she's dead... Dimitri's heart broken into million pieces to that thought, but what will happened when he'll meet her again? Will he have the courage to do the right thing?

After Rose gets shot protecting Lissa she wakes up two years ago in Portland on the night they were forced to return to St. Vladimir's. How does Rose knowing what happened change the relationships she has and the world around her? Does anyone else have alternate memories?
