Same time as she's you know left the dreaming he's also thinking that all the things that he's done wrong and he's realizing she wasn't the problem he was he was so emotionally unattached that he didn't realize that he was the one that ruined their relationship. and once he's freed he's going to try and fix that relationship but she's not going to have it she's going to tell him to leave her alone who she wants nothing to do with them she may love him but he betrayed her Also I do not own Sandman I only own the original characters and some of the plot the Sandman belongs to the right people who people who made it like Neil Gaiman and Netflix and whatever
