Long ago evil armies lead by two dark masters who had rested in the earth's crust, threatened the safety and sanctity of planet earth. The heroes fought the monsters that these dark masters, Lord Scaro and Serpenta, sent to them. Scaro's armies proved powerful, they even ended the life of that ancient power. One apprentice of the stone's original protector, then collected the stones and took them as well as a close friend to a place of tranquility in the hopes to protect the stones from falling into evil hands.
