Short stories I wrote with inspiration from Newsies the Musical. They aren't polished or well-crafted, but I love them anyway. My best friend really loves Newsies, so these are dedicated to you, bro.

There's nothing left for Liliana Barker in Trenton, NJ. Working since the age of 7 as a laundry girl for a newsboy lodge, Lily has earned enough to move to the big city of New York. Figuring that she's learned enough about the life of a newsie from the boys, Lily leaves at 16 to make a name for herself. She couldn't have guessed she'd be given a name by none other than the Manhattan Newsies. Will New York be the chance of a lifetime Lily had hoped for? Or will the challenges of a Newsie be too much to handle? This story is newsiexoc fanfic taking place in the 1992 movie. Characters belong to the movie other than the ones I made up for the story.

The Delancey Brothers weren't always big and bad. They actually had a good life at one point! But the newsies messed that up for them, and they will ALWAYS hate them for that. (pictured as Livesies Delanceys, not OBC) Basically my take on how the Delanceys got to how they are in the musical, and maybe their perspective of the strike, I don't know we'll see. Written in pretty short chapters.

When information leads him to believe "Racetrack" is planning to strike at the New York World Casino, he immediately sets chase. But what if the intentions of this "Racetrack" are a lot more noble than they appear to be? TL:DR; Spot's been chasing Race for a while now. But gosh, they weren't lying with the nickname. Based on "Diamond Jack" a short film by Rachel Kim,"The Villain I Appear To Be" by Connor Spiotto, and the Newsies fanfic "The Villain of your Viewpoint" by yoyo-101 Old story from my ao3 I've decided to post here as well.

Blitz is left to fend for herself on the streets of Brooklyn, New York. After being locked up in the refuge for a year, she breaks out and falls in with Jack Kelly, going to the Newsies lodging house in Manhattan where she finally finds friends. Racetrack seems to consider her more than a friend, and the Delancey brothers most certainly don't consider her a friend at first, but her life seems to have changed for the better. But, when the Delancey brothers find out her secret, she knows that her newfound relationships may very well be in danger, and so is Racetrack . How far will Blitz go to keep her secret?

In 1899, two aspiring reporters get caught up in one of the biggest events of their time; a newsboy strike. Eleanor, Ellie, and her friend aim to be more than vaudeville reporters, and when opportunity comes their way, they immediately jump on it. But with the strike comes the leader. Jack Kelly. Ellie finds him both endearing and annoying. Sweet and frustrating. All is well until the strike goes wrong and then he finds out who she truly is. But the newboys and their fellow reporters are resilient. They refuse to quit before they're done, and that strength and courage may save them in the end. And perhaps there is also a chance for love. *I don't own Newsies. All credit goes to Alan Menken and Jack Feldman. I only own Ellie.*

Basically it's Oscar and Morris' sister and maybe some love and stuff.

Becca Kelly is Jack Kelly's little sister, and they were all they had until they became newsies. They were always with each other through thick and thin. Then the strike starts, and everything turns into a roller-coaster. Jack finds himself with feelings for a... boy??? And Becca finds herself in love with a boy who her best friend classifies as "glum and dumb". What will come to these siblings?

Trip spent most his days with his mother after his father was taken away. He had a good life ahead of him. Suddenly his life is turned upside down as his mother falls sick. Having to find a job Trip starts to work as a Newsie. Fighting his issues and trying to make friends is proven to be harder for Trip then he thought. Trip knew nothing of his family other then his mother and father.. Finding out he is related to the Delancey Brothers doesn't make things any better. Throw in some love and other issues makes Trip life abit more interesting

Theo, a girl who moved to NYC to follow her dreams as a dancer. Luckily she has a place to stay with her best friend who also happens to be her brother, Liam. When she gets there she finds out Liam has another roommate called Mike. Maybe moving to New York was the best move after all.

So, basically, I'm going to be writing various Newsies character/actor oneshots and putting them in here because I'm trash. There will be a good mix of both x reader and whatever ship I may decide to write in, or what any of you guys suggest! Not gonna lie, it's gonna be a lot of Ben Fankhauser x reader. They'll also vary in time frame and there will be PLENTY of AU's. I'll be open to requests if you like what I'm writing! Hope you enjoy, you beautiful fansies you.
