The faraway land of Morrowind isn't where Daria Morgendorffer, a young Imperial woman with a chip on her shoulder and a library's worth of booksmarts, had ever particularly expected to go. But now that she's here, she has to navigate a world even more absurd and ruthless than the one in her Cyrodiil home. Armed with nothing more than her wits, her new friend Jane, and (sometimes) her family, she'll have to figure out how to survive in a society where bugs are haute cuisine, assassinations can be legal, and corruption is always in style. Outlanders is a fanfiction that reimagines the characters of Daria as native to Tamriel as presented in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. You do not need to have seen or even know anything about Daria to follow along (it probably helps to know a bit about Tamriel, however). Outlanders is an episodic mix of comedy and drama that follows Daria as she learns to navigate life in a new society and how to overcome her own worst tendencies.
