A Straykids x vampire fanfiction. What to do when you're the side character of the story? You've been his source for years and witnessed him expanding his territory and making friends. You know what he needs, when he needs it and why he needs it. Your chapter is already finished and now you're on the sideline, watching your friend find love again. What leaves that for you? Are you becoming the meddlesome person who will stand in their way? OR will you become the friend of the main, the fairy godmother giving wise advice? Maybe you won't be any of those, you remain a side character and silently cheer for your friend. But realizing you're not his pillar anymore hurts... And what about the knowledge you now possess? He can't be there for you whenever lurking danger surrounds you. How can you leave your house, without wondering if there are others like him? Your purpose is over and a new chapter has only now begun. 1K Reads at 18-10-24' 2K Reads at 17-3-25'

Their is nothing too big just like h-ll, cr-p and sh-t. nothing like f-ck or anything big like that... Two Deamons stand at the abyss. Trapped in hell and they want out. The jump is scary but nothing ventured nothing gained, right? This is largely a story about child abuse and where that leads. About prevailing. Greek tragedy like but not really. More just tragic. What comes as we battle to not give in and what happens when we do........prevail. This story changes as the boy grows. So what you read at the beginning has a different flavor when you hit chapter five then changes again at chapter 10.

A short story I wrote for a class based on the poem "The Mortician in San Francisco" by Randall Mann. The poem and story are about a man, Harvey Milk, who was the first queer/gay man to become a Supervisor for the San Francisco County Board. Unfortunately, he was murdered, along with Mayor Moscone, by Supervisor Dan White. White did not serve the proper amount amount of time he deserved for 2 deaths; he got out of jail earlier than expected but should have been jailed longer. If it weren't for the second murder (Mayor Moscone), it's possible Dan White could have almost gotten off scot-free and without a longer charge. The story behind the poem is real and saddening, and I chose it for my assignment because I felt I could connect with it. I achieved high marks for this assignment, and I'm posting it here because I just want to keep it somewhere and to share it with others who might enjoy. Poem included. Cover made by me (ghotietoasties) :)

Briar Hill knows nothing of love. Quite frankly, he knows nothing. For the past eight out of the seventeen years of his life, the mortician's daughter has been the star of his dreams; the picture under his pillow; as memorized as the prayers his late mother had taught him. In truth, the mortician's daughter is his obsession. She is, in his eyes, the most beautiful girl known to man. Except, no one else knows she exists. Briar knows he is destined to be with her. He would do anything. He would die for her. Though for the mortician's daughter, death is too small of a price. As Briar becomes a part of the Mortician's world, the world he once knew starts fading away. Learning the truth is much more deadly than he thought.

Someone dumped a body in an open grave at the cemetery, and the undertaker isn't happy about it. But he isn't happy about the police trying to solve it, either. In fact, the undertaker tries to solve it himself. The undertaker's name is Yvgeny, and Yvgeny is an unlikeable and morally ambiguous Sherlock Holmes aficionado who lives with his mother in a mortuary in middle-Georgia. He wears Victorian era dress and speaks with a Polish accent. Don't let Yvgeny's career choice scare you away from the story- while some of Yvgeny's antics will make you cringe, there is nothing gory or violent. The story begins with Yvgeny preparing for a funeral. He gets annoyed when he discovers someone dumped a body into a grave he had dug for someone else. Always looking for a way to make an extra buck, he hauls the body back to his office to inspect. After filching a nice watch, he calls the police. Of course, Yvgeny doesn't like the police, and he eventually decides to solve the crime himself. With his love for Sherlock Holmes and inflated ego, he estimates his chances of solving the crime are far higher than those of the detectives. Yvgeny teams up with a motley assortment of not always like-minded characters in this small Georgia town, trying to stay one step ahead as the detectives close in. The local talent includes the mentally deficient one-eyed owner of the army-navy surplus store and the local doctor/deputy coroner who is a recovering hippie with a Tom Selleck fetish. In the middle of everything, Yvgeny falls for the crude and vulgar granddaughter of an old man buried in his cemetery. She is turned off by his bizarre fashion and strange interests, but Yvgeny is persistent. Will he solve the crime? Will he get the girl? Read and find out!
