Marlene has always liked strange things. Maybe that's why living in a quiet community of converted vehicles and a few public buildings into homes feels perfectly normal to her. Her double-decker bus is her sanctuary-cozy and entirely her own. But one evening, after returning from work, Marlene discovers something far stranger waiting inside her home. A man with a familiar face. A face she knows far too well. Because he shouldn't exist. He's John Doe, the obsessive and unsettling character from the visual novel she has played more times than she can count. And the moment their eyes meet, he falls hopelessly (and obsessively) in love with her. As if that wasn't enough chaos, Marlene soon notices a strange mark on his wrist... identical to the one she has carried on her thigh for years. A soulmate mark. To Marlene, it's confusing. To John Doe, it's the greatest news of his life. Now Marlene is stuck living with an obsessively and dangerously devoted yandere who refuses to leave her side, while she is trying to balance work, her bizarre life where homes are made of abandoned vehicles and strange-looking building, and the haunting mystery she has never been able to let go of: the unsolved murder of her mother. Her life was already strange... and complicated. Now it's complete mayhem. All Marlene wanted was a quiet life in her double-decker bus. Fate decided to give her a yandere soulmate instead. John Doe the character and most story elements are from the creative mind of Mortisfox. John Doe is a "yandere romance" style game, taking a "youre trapped in the game" approach, we're ignoring that last part for the sake of this fan fiction though. This will not be one shots but if you have suggestions I could give those a shot in a seperate story. 18+ recommended.

Moving out of your house and into a new place is a new experience for anyone. Especially if you have an eldritch ritch abomination that claims to love you.
