Morwenna McCoy is just your regular girl from 18th century England......... except she's really not. She was abandoned by her father when she was just an infant and was fortunately taken in by a loving family. There have been rumors about where she came from swirling around the seaside town she was raised in but she has done her best to ignore them. Her mother has been a mystery to her her whole life. All she has of her is a locket with a small portrait inside it and a letter addressed to her with a rough sketch of the colony of Maryland and an X that marks the spot that holds all the answers about her life. Upon turning 18 she finds passage to the colonies and decides to discover who she really is.

It takes place about midway through the third season, where Morwenna Chynoweth is forced to marry Osborne Whitworth, despite being in love with Drake Carne, brother of Ross Poldark's wife, Demelza. This fanfiction serves as a sort of alternate storyline to the series that you can read even if you have never seen Poldark. *I DO NOT OWN THESE CHARACTERS*
