Kids, this is the true story of How I Met Your Mother... Well, actually no, let me start again. Kids, this is the guide book to the true story of How I Met Your Mother. DISCLAIMER! I do not nor will I probably ever own How I Met Your Mother. This is just a guide on the show for my fellow HIMYM fans. Also, I am aware that there aren't all the facts here, but I live in England so Season 9 hasn't finished here yet and I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

How I Met Your Mother is an American sitcom about Ted Mosby and how he fell in love. It all starts when his best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he's going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily. At that moment Ted realises that he also wants to settle down and start his own family. Helping him is his other best friend Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a lover of suits and a foolproof way with women. When Ted meets Robin, he first thinks it is love at first sight, but destiny has something else in store. Will Ted find the love of his life?

Ted's life is all crumbling apart, he's lost Tracy too. At least he's still got his friends... Hasn't he?

Ted's twin sister comes to town and has a "one night" stand with Barney the night before she was supposed to arrive,the next day things are awkward between the two before the story comes tumbling out. As Ted slowly starts to accept what happened Barney and Alyss's relationship slowly starts to develop.
