Lost Voices is a book about a girl who goes mute after her mother's death. Her father basically breaks down after his wife's death. Love (the main character) works to support her Dad and herself. She meets someone that changes her life for the better.

Melanie is only 15 years old when she was forced to marry an abusive man. The ex-warlord is close friends. Megatron introduced Optimus and she's scared to suggest she wants to leave her husband and he is 40 years old. What will happen when they rescue her?
